Upper Field | Oberfeld

Today, when we took a look at the fencing for the goats, we noticed that the entire field in front of the house had been consumed by the goats, and, because it's autumn, no section had grown back in time to feed the goats. Therefore, we decided to move them onto the upper field for the first time. We were hesitant at first because we couldn't watch them from the house, but, in fact, they're quite used to the fencing now and they were very happy in the tall grass up there. What is more, the changing colors of the leaves on the hillside were a beautiful backdrop to their grazing.
Als wir heute den Zaun für die Ziegen betrachteten, bemerkten wir, dass das ganze Feld vor dem Haus von den Ziegen verzehrt wurde, und weil es Herbst ist, ist keine Sektion rechtzeitig zurückgekehrt, um die Ziegen zu füttern. Deshalb haben wir beschlossen, sie zum ersten Mal auf das obere Feld zu bringen. Wir waren zögerlich, weil wir sie vom Haus aus nicht beobachten konnten, aber tatsächlich sind sie jetzt ziemlich an den Zaun gewöhnt und sie waren sehr glücklich im hohen Gras auf dem oberen Feld. Darüber hinaus waren die wechselnden Farben der Blätter am Hang eine schöne Kulisse für ihre Beweidung.
