In the middle of December, the attic had been painted and the old carpet had been removed. Now it was just a question of how to get the new carpet to the top floor. Pascal installed a beautiful system to pull it up through the window, but as soon as the boys gots the carpet pulled up to the window they soon realized that it would not swing out. All that genius and manpower was rendered useless. Luckily, there's another window at the back of the house against the hillside, up to which they could drag the carpet. So much easier!

Mitte Dezember war der Dachboden gestrichen und der alte Teppich entfernt worden. Nun war es nur noch eine Frage, wie man den neuen Teppich in die oberste Etage bringt. Pascal installierte ein schönes System, um es durch das Fenster hochzuziehen, aber sobald die Jungen den Teppich zum Fenster hochgezogen hatten, stellten sie fest, dass er nicht herausschwingen würde. All das Genie und die Arbeitskraft wurde unbrauchbar gemacht. Zum Glück gibt es hinten im Haus ein weiteres Fenster gegen den Hang, bis zu dem sie den Teppich ziehen könnten. So viel einfacher!
